An Added Experience In Palm Reading
I overlooked a very interesting post on the forum and did not have it for the video. But wanted you to "hear" this also. This is from gothicreations at Etsy. There are a variety of lovely things in her shop. Here is the link and the pictures show 2 of my favorites.

In her own words
gothicreations says:
"I had my palm read back in September. All I told her was my name and birth date. I didn't say anything else to her. She said that I would be successful in my chosen career which she saw as something creative and involved drawing. I just got my degree in interior design. She said that I have often been treading water financially but I will start making more money due to effort I was currently doing. She also talked to me my dating life. She was right on traget with that one.
It was very interesting. I did it for fun. I would probably do it again just because it was fun."
For those of you interested there is a rather interesting video about Palmistry and Astrology on You Tube

Etsy Talk About Palm Reading
If you have wondered about what people thought about palm reading. Here are some snippets from a discussion last week.Samples of the work of these Etsy Artists is in the video also posted but you may wish to check out the shops listed with the comments.
These were just as given when asked if they had ever had a palm reading and what they thought of palmistry in general.
waterfall says:
An old Hungarian Lady read my hand when I was 12. At a Church bake sale of all places. I didn't believe her. But she was so right. Kind of scary in a way. http://waterfall.etsy.com
lilbrigid says:
I had my palm read in New Orleans 9 years ago (yikes! that made me feel old to write). She was more right than wrong -- enough so that I've been dying to go to another one. As far as specifics are concerned, I was in the tenth grade at the time, and she told me I'd graduate first in my class, and I did, so that's pretty cool. http://lilbrigid.etsy.com
ellenray says:
no- but would like to

Loviisa says:
I've had the works done over the years - palm, tarot, holding an object that belongs to you, astrology... Indian wise men, hippies in California, old ladies in the East end of London, and I can't even remember who else
And I can sincerely say that have all turned out to be a load of rubbish. http://loviisa.etsy.com
ScotiaMade says:
four of us went one day to a local palm reader and psychic. I have to say, what a load of shit. She so far off base on everyone there, and managed to upset the pregnant lady (who she did not know was pregnant) by talking endlessly about upcoming miscarriages ( update: she has 2 girls, no miscarriages ). But, predictably, one amongst us clung to the things said tp her because it was what she wanted to hear. none of it came to pass

jlyndesigns says:
Over the years I've had a lot of different types of readings by different people. Some were specific and did come to pass others were general and were pretty much garbage and speculation. http://jlyndesigns.etsy.com
Squirrelgirl68 says:
I've got a book on it.
I can read the basics, like how many children and true love type of thing.

buttonempire says:
I've got oe *crazy* set of lines on both hands. No life line to speak of, and a gazillion other lines running off in all directions. It's wild.
I once tried to get a reading at a tea room, but I swear, she looked at my palms and blanched. She was so out of her element.
I'd love to meet a pro pro and get my palm read. My hands would challenge the best of them. : http://buttonempire.etsy.com
junkmostwondrous says:
A palm reader just opened shop nearby. I kind of want to check it out but I'm also chickenshit scared. I have very lined palms too, Button. http://junkmostwonderous.etsy.com
AngelHeartBeads says:
I do tarot readings and rune readings - but I don't look at it like a psychic reading. I guess the whole thing about palm reading and tarot cards is the person who is getting the reading will take from it what they will. I believe 100% in the power of energy and making things happen for yourself (within reason). But do I specifically believe everything the cards display? No, I don't.

kookyhandbags says:
Yes. In College, and they said I would either be very poor or very rich.
Actually I've never been either yet.
Also that I would have a long term illness which is true. http://kookyhandbags.etsy.com
