From A Ghost Whisperer?

I was startled and sorry to hear that CBS will not br picking up Ghost Whisperer next season. It is one of my favorite programs.

Medium James Van Praagh, a producer, discussed his encounters with spirits of the deceased, their perceptions of the Other Side, their unfinished business and regrets, and their advice for the living. In describing what happens when we die, he said people feel a sense of peace and tranquility, and they are always met by loved ones-- "no one ever dies alone." Van Praagh shared his own NDE: "there's a sense of oneness...that we do all belong...there's a universal tapestry and each one of us has a tether at the top of our head which touches that tapestry, and we're all connected."

Some spirits don't realize that they're dead, and remain in denial for a time, he explained. Many spirits have told him that their death was related to their addictions, and he advised people to deal with their addictions while on the earthly plane, so that they won't be caught up with this on the next level. In order to communicate with a deceased person while in the dream state, Van Praagh suggested that before going to sleep, ask that person to show up. "Send out that thought and let it go. And when you least suspect it, when you're not trying to control it, they will come into your dream state and you will see them."

When spirits come through to Van Praagh, they sometimes offer warnings to their loved ones about business deals or looming medical problems, he noted, adding that they have accurately foreseen the need for someone to see a doctor for a particular condition. At a demonstration at a hotel for 100 people, a man's deceased son came through to ask for help for his father who was battling alcoholism. The spirit thanked his father for putting his name on a tattoo, and the father pulled up his shirt and revealed that he did have a tattoo across his chest in Gothic letters-- "My Beloved Son, Michael."

BTW he says they hope another network will pick up the show...

A Medium And A Man In A Coma

As many of you know,I grew up in the mountains of North Georgia.Imagine my surprised delight when watching "Psychic Investigators" That a psychic featured was from as is said "from my neck of the woods"I went on line to check her out and found this interesting experience described:

"In March , 2006, Sharon received a call out of the blue from a woman in another country. She didn't usually watch psychic programs, but Sharon's Court TV feature happened to be on when she was walking by the set, and something made her stop to pay attention. Her family was desperate, so she called a psychic for the first time. Could she please help someone in a coma? Their family member was seriously injured. The doctors gave no hope and were about ready to take the person off life support. Sharon had been a medium many times very successfully with deceased loved ones, never for a person in a coma before. Let alone long distance by phone to a foreign country. She agreed to try. When she tunes in to a sick person, or a missing person, or someone who wants information or life counseling, she "catches visions": pictures, or words, impressions, objects, sometimes a "movie" surrounding that person or the events.

Says Sharon, "He told me he was still in the process of deciding whether to go or stay and could his family please give him some time to make up his mind? Tell them not to worry, I'm not in pain because I'm not in my body. I'm with them when they are at home." The family was incredibly comforted.

In a few days, Sharon received the message, "Tell them I'll be waking up in 7-9 days." To the absolute incredulity of the doctors, he woke up on 9 days! In a few more days, he was walking with assistance and beginning to communicate. They are calling it a miracle. The family is so thankful to Sharon and her abilities that allowed them to have insights into the mind of their beloved in a coma."

Get In The Spirit...Dress Is Optional

Well I heard this recently...
A mediun was asked if it was true that ghosts or spirits appear in the clothing in which they were buried. He had never thought about it,he said so was asked by the host to ask his spirit guides with whom he maintains daily contact and let us know the following night. Here is his response:
" Clothing is an optional thing in the spirit world,"Psychic medium Tana Hoy said. "Whether or not spirits appear to be wearing clothes depends on their consciousness and which of the seven spiritual levels they go to when crossing over," he explained.

Humm, what do you make of that? I have never seen or heard anyone who saw a naked ghost..
