Crop Circles-Some Considerations

The video shows a selection from a review of items tagged Crop Circles from a search at Etsy.com.Thanks to the Artists that allowed their items to be used.

Some interesting points by those who study Crop Circles are highlighted.there are many more. These reflect the belief that 20% or more are NOT man made.

What Creates Them?

The theories on what creates crop circles, if they are not manmade, are many . But some of the most common theories include whirlwind vortexes, plasma vortexes (the balls of light?), Earth energies, extraterrestrials, underground archaeology, sound vibrations, heavenly or demonic forces, and military experiments including microwaves.

If the anomalies listed above are real, a thorough, rigorously scientific examination of crop circles and their effects is called for to help unravel this mystery.

Sacred Geometry

. "The Sacred Geometry of Crop Circles" says that so-called sacred geometry is evident in crop formations and reflect "the universe, its pure forms and dynamic equilibriums shared a higher purpose: the attainment of spiritual wholeness through self-reflection, thereby giving structural insight into the workings of the inner self. When analyzing crop circle forms through the precise and unalterable practice of sacred geometry one cannot help but appreciate that a mind of scholarly intelligence is involved. That these symbols are occurring primarily in wheat, the very symbol of the Earth Mother, is significant in itself. Perhaps they are here to draw us as a race together by this interaction with our symbol of life?"

Effects on equipment.

Researchers claim that their electronic equipment is often affected when they are examining crop circles. "There have been numerous reports of electronic equipment failing in crop circles and compasses spinning out of control in and over the crop circles (when flying over in aircraft)," according to "Peculiarities of Crop Circles". "This range of equipment includes watches, mobile phones, batteries, cameras. No explanations for these occurrences, other than the indication of a strong EM field distortions.

Physical Symptoms

Extremes of physical effects on people who enter crop circles have been reported. While some feel elation, others feel ill effects, including "nausea, headaches, dizziness, tingling sensations, pains and giddiness." Some claim their menstrual cycles have been affected while others say they have literally been knocked off their feet(
Examples of severe effects on a dog and a cat are also given)

The ongoing debate among many crop circle investigators and skeptics has been: Are they manmade or not? While many designs are clearly and admittedly made by people (even veteran crop circle researcher Colin Andrew estimates that up to 80 percent of them are probably manmade), some researchers insist that many formations are not - in fact, cannot be - made by humans.(Several other distinctions leading to this decision are in the article,)

Adapting To Sleep Paralysis

In our recent discussion of Sleep Paralysis in an Etsy Forum, some of the people experiencing the terror of it have found a few ways to adapt to the occurrences.Read the accounts and notice the things that sometimes work.As you may recall amber also mentioned this in her account published in the previous post.It may be helpful to those who go through this..Some samples of their work is included in the video.A link to the shop follows their story.

I used to have this happen a lot as a kid/teen, but only a couple of times since adult. its incredibly frightening. i remember trying to tell my parents, and they thought i was being foolish, til i read about it online somewhere and knew what it was. it still freaks me out, until i realize whats going on and force myself to try and sleep and then i'll come out of it. freaky!

I've had it at times! Feels like it's so real in the moment & worse still, I couldn't move or scream. At first I thought it was like a night terror thing (so glad it wasn't) but in the moment that hardly matters. I've not had it happen in a quite a while but I've also been on anti-anxiety medication, so that may be why.

In the meantime, chamomile tea & either lavender or chamomile scents worked for one of my friends. Drink the tea before going to sleep and use a bit of either essential oil on your sleep mask (should you have one). ;)

I have had it a few times and it's breath taking scary and it left me fatiqued too.

How about breaking the cycle by taking a light dose muscle relaxer? Either natural or prescribed?

My indian teachings tell me though that you need prayers. Consider them on the way with your name in them Snow

FeetingFrenzy says:
i used to experience sleep paralysis all the time as a teenager. it frightened me every single time it happened. i never felt like there were people around me, never felt the heavy chest thing either. i would just wake up and not be able to move. at first i would try to fight it and try to force myself to move. but after the first few times i learned the best way to deal with it was to relax as much as possible and let myself fall back to sleep.

it doesn't happen to me anymore. thank god!!

Solanah says:
Oh gosh I havent had it in a while, but it is terrifying. Pretty much the only thing you have control of is your thoughts and your breathing. You really dont want to go back to sleep, it feels like you'll fall into some horrible world and never escape, so you have to really fight it by trying to stay calm and gathering up energy and then trying to simply move.

ScotiaMade says:
It's happneed to me for years. I am now aware when it is happening that I am dreaming and I work to get awake to escape the situation.

This was, of course, a bit of a surprise for the BF the first time it happened, as my method of getting awake is to alert those in the waking world to my situation via a loud noise that is now known in our house as "the wibble"

It sounds a bit like the noise you woudl expect a muppet to make were you to spin it around the room by its feet until it passed out.

That is not what it sounds like in my dream,m but there you have it.

Ramona's Flying Thread

Some time ago I told you of my friend Roberta who could open and close her heavy closet door by concentrating on it.You have also heard of the chaos in a home a poltergeist presence can evoke.Ramona's story is sort of between these two types of occurrences.Equally interesting.
She has a shop on Etsy. Some of her creations are included in the video but you will probably want to see more.
http://Ramona.etsy.com

She tells about herself in her profile:
"After retiring from a job at an automotive assembly plant I finally found time for my artistic and creative side.

I dusted myself off and then took a class in Stained Glass something I had always wanted to learn. I soon figured out how to take the process and make soldered jewelry. I now have a line I call Soldered Treasures that I am very proud of.

These days I fill my days between my soldering iron and my sewing machine my first love.

Until the grandkids come my dog Sydney and my cat Gracie keep me company and fill my days, oh and lurking in on the forums.

I belong to the Cleveland handmade Team and love chatting with these wonderful women."

Here is her experience in her own words.
"I was starting to sew a project one time and couldn't find the thread I needed anywhere and I had just had it. I gave up and turned on the TV I figured oh well might as well just relax. As I sat down the thread I was looking for cam flying across the room and hit me on the head literally.

It looked as if I had left it on my dresser that I had in the living room at the time. I saw it coming right at me and still didn't move, I couldn't believe my eyes.

After the freak out I turned off the TV and made my project, thought it was a sign.

Thank You for your story,Ramona...

' where did the red come from: Did you mix the colors yourself?;
------------------------
Yes, I used new liquid colors, with a new wax..neither of which I had used before. I should have listed them on halloween. lol"

Valarie Has A Story From Enidsjewelry

A fellow Etsy Jewelry Artist ,Valarie who has her shop Enid'sjewelry says she is "a chicken" when it comes to the supernatural."Also, I'm a chicken. I'm super scared or surnatural stuff but yet, I keep on reading uniquenurses =P Gives me the chills, but it's like drugs to me !About her crafting
"I've been making jewelry since the past 7 years now, and I love it more and more everyday ! I also do other crafts, but I keep them for myself. I like playing with paper goodies, as well as knit and crochet.

I used to study fine arts, but left that field when I decided that tourism was really what I was looking for. This was a turning point. Instead of stopping to craft and paint, I increased the amount of time I was spending creating. And then was born Enid's jewelry =)

You will see some of her work in the video but will want to visit the store to see more
http://enidjewelry.etsy.com
Here is her story in her own words

"I lived to parent's house since I was 2 years old. I only moved out recently... But Since the first moment I entered the house I KNEW that something wasn't "normal". I would feel drastic air temperature changes, I would feel scared for no reason, and I could feel... Someone. I never really saw it. I could just feel it.

One night, I had a friend come drop me off at home. She came in and suddenly said she was in a hurry and left. The next morning, we saw each other, and she said she saw a little girl, about 5 or 6 years old, in the middle of my living room. She said she looked sad. Anyway, I thought she was crazy, because I never saw anything, so why would she ? That was about 3 years ago.

I am now married and my husband has been living with my parents and I... About 4 months ago, a bit after we got married, my husband says he needs to talk to me and "that it can't wait until tomorrow". Mind you, it was 2 AM and I was tired. I tried to convince him to wait, but he still went on with the story. "I saw someone in your living room. A little girl, 5 or 6, she was crying. There was a stench, I almost threw up. It came from her. I don't know what's going on, but I saw her every time I went downstairs for the last couple of days"... He gave me the same detailed description as my friend, and each time, the little girl seemed to be very sad to be there.

I don't know who she is, but it gives me the chills. It's not my friend who has so much imagination, it's now my husband. They both saw the same thing. And I'm pretty sure another friend of mine saw her but he was too scared to tell me in case I thought he was crazy. I know, because I saw his face when he looked at my living room, near the sofa.

Now, since I moved out of my parents' house, I don't feel the temperature changes or the presence anymore. But I'd like to know who she is, because I'm curious "

I asked about her parents and wondered about the history of the house. She added:
"Nope, my parents never saw anything. They always believed I was afraid of the dark, but it was more a fear of what could pop up anytime before my eyes. I used to go downstairs, and run as fast as I can to avoid the living room AND the kitchen.

Some days, it was ok. Some days it was in my room. I freaked out once, had to have my husband call me. Another day it would be in the living room. Never in my sister's room or parent's room. Once, I have to go from my room to the living room to get some rest and finally sleep. My bedroom was so cold my husband was cold too. So it's wasn't my imagination.

I never thought I'd have a cool story like that anytime in my life =P

History of the house... built in the 1960s, nothing notorious happened there, but we lived across a cemetery.

Wow that is an interesting story.Thank you for telling it...

I Will Fly Tells Her Mom Of A Ghostly Encounter

Ariel who has a shop at Etsy, IWillFly,is a multi-talented crafting artist from California. She has been selling on Etsy for about a year.I love her attitude and you will agree her mother is very clever when you hear the story.

The video introduces some of her work but you will want to visit her shop to see more.Find it at
http://IWillFly.etsy.com
Ariel said " I was raised with a real "do-it-yourself"

attitude (probably because we were always broke) and it never occurs to me to buy
something until I've tried to make it myself first."
Isn't that incredible..Here is her story:

"I grew up in a very old house where doors would open and shut themselves, music boxes turn themselves on, that sort of thing. Once, terrified, I ran to my mother who told me, and I quote "I find that when they are being obvious like that they just want you to clean something. Why don't you go clean your room?"
That is my mom for you, using every opportunity to make me clean my room!"

She adds an update:

"I am also living in a another really old house these days, this one was a brothel
when it was built in the early 1900's. Not unexpectedly, most of it's "peculiarities"
are limited to the back of the house near the bedroom :) "

I love it.Thanks for telling us your story and kudos to your Mom.

Etsy Artists Describe Precognitive Dreams

In a forum discussion of percognitive dreams, several people had such an experience. One was MagnoliaStreet. If you would like to see her work some is in the video but you may wish to visit her store http://magnoliastreet.etsy.co Her profile says:My name is James, and I love this sweet life.

I also have another Etsy shop -- damejame.etsy.com -- where I sell vintage goods.

Thanks for supporting independent artists!

This is her story,in her own words
I dreamed for months that I was going to get hit by an olive green station wagon while riding my bicycle on my childhood street. But it was like I was inside me, watching it happen, and it happened in slow motion; I was looking out through my eyes as though I were wearing a mask, and then I saw my mouth opening slowly to scream when I saw the car coming at me, about to hit me, and right when it hit / was about to hit, I snapped awake.

The freakier thing by far is that my mother had the exact same dream for the same time period, and the morning of my accident, she told me she didn’t want me to be riding my bicycle that day. When the paramedics called her to tell her what had happened, she knew it.

That is a touching experience. And the mother did not doubt her as she had the same dream...

Another that the researchers would love since it too is validated by being known by others before the event comes from CraftyChris.Unfortunately the picture of her finger pen did not make it into the video inspite of three tries,so they are worth a trip to see.The shop is
http://CraftyChris.etsy.com

Female, Born on May 18I live with my husband and two cats in sunny, hot, southern California. I work nights, sleep days, and wish I could craft full time. My favorite color is purple, have a quirky, eccentric sense of humor, and like to read.
I get my inspiration from everything I see, watch, read, smell, taste, hear, and touch. I love color, the more the better.
I am always learning, and love to try new ideas, techniques and crafts.
******************
Her story in her own words
craftychris says:
"It was a year to the day BEFORE my grandfather died that I drempt he died, and exactly how and what he did all day before and what happened right after. I know it was exactly to the day because on March 4, 1989 I woke up, kind of stunned, stumbled to the bathroom, looked into the mirror and completely lost it. I was in major tears bordering on hysterics. My little brother (Jasen, he's now 32) was up at the same time and got my mother. I told her the dream and she said it was ok, it's just a dream. I didn't know that my brother Jasen was doing a family journal for a school project and was to wirte down interesting things that happen, or funny, or whatever.

A year later my grandfather died EXACTLY down to what he was wearing, what he did, and the fact my grandmother was so frazzled, she couldn't figure out to dial 911, she called my cousin.

To this day, it still freaks me out."

Hope you will visit the shop of each of these talented artists. Thanks to them for their accounts of this topic. The video is below the post.
