This is a nice story, thank you L.
"HAUNTING CHRISTMAS SONG
On February 7, 2009 my Mom passed away of terminal cancer. Prior to her death, we had talked about the afterlife. I asked her if she could send me a sign after she was gone to let me know that she was ok. She said that she would if she could.
That night I went to bed after crying myself to sleep and at about 4 a.m. I was lying there thinking about our conversation when all of the sudden a doll that played the song "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" went off in my little girl's room all by itself.
There was nothing near it and no way it could have gone off. My daughter had just gotten it for Christmas. And now a year later it hasn't happened again. Christmas was my Mom's favorite holiday. I am sure that it was her. Or is it just a coincidence? - Luetta

I am sure that many of you have heard the thought that the famed star proclaiming the Birth Of Jesus may have been an undetected UFO.Here is an expert with another yake on it.
"Author L.A. Marzulli discussed his latest research on the evidence of UFOs that fly with impunity in our skies and offered an explanation of the Bethlehem star of 2000 years ago.
Rather than a UFO or mothership, he suggested the Star of Bethlehem was a rare conjunction of the planet Jupiter next to the star Regulus. A group of priests in Babylon, the Magi, who were the kingmakers of the ancient world, observed this in this sky and determined an important event was about to take place. This coincided with Jesus' birth, which he said was actually Sept. 11, 3 AD. The reason Christmas is celebrated on December 25th has more to do with mirroring the ancient Roman holiday of Saturnalia, he explained.

Stephen Wagner shared this story on About Paranormal another for The Count Down To Christmas.
"In the early morning hours of December 6, 2009 I saw something very strange. I wake up a lot throughout the night because I have a toddler to check on, and I was also six months pregnant and needed to use the restroom frequently.
That night I initially awoke because there was a lot of light coming in from the windows at the back of the house. As soon as I realized I was awake, I went to the nearest window and looked outside to see why it was so bright outside.
About 400 yards behind my house is a very large hill that juts up steeply out of the surrounding flat landscape. We live in the Nevada desert, so even though it is a long distance, there isn't much to obstruct my view. Halfway up the hill is a single house. It is the only house for several hundred yards around it. At the foot of the hill is a retaining wall, and as I gazed out my window during the wee hours of the morning, it looked as though there was a group of people busily putting up gold Christmas lights along the wall. I thought they were a little strange to be putting Christmas lights up in the middle of the night, but then I reasoned that maybe they worked nights or something and were used to the odd hours.
I left the window, checked on my toddler, then went to the restroom. After 5 to 10 minutes, I came back to the window and watched them work some more. They were quite a distance away and I couldn't see a lot of details, but it appeared that they were making quick progress and I watched them for several more minutes, puzzling a little that someone must be very dedicated to Christmas to put lights up so late.
Eventually, I went back to bed, putting a sleeping mask on to block out the light streaming in from the window. It didn't take long before I fell back to sleep.
The next morning I immediately looked out the window to see how the project finished. From my vantage point, in the light of day, I couldn't see anything. I decided maybe it was too far away to see lights that had been hung but weren't actually lit, so I decided I should wait for nightfall when the lights would be lit again.
Well, you probably guessed the rest. I checked for several nights and never did see the lights come back on. After four days, I walked to the back edge of my property and stood against my own rear wall to get the best view possible. It became clear that there were no lights at all hung on the retaining wall. The wall was entirely bare with absolutely no decoration.
I don't know what I saw that night; it was pretty far away. From that distance I can only be certain that my eyes assumed I was looking at a group of people putting up Christmas lights. And I am absolutely positive that I was completely wide awake when I saw it." - 2charming

Mandee tells us
"There's a strange road I have to take to get back home. There are always weird shadows and other unexplained things that seem to enchant the roadway. One night I believe whatever it is that haunts this stretch of pavement may have come home with me.
I was driving home alone, my car filled with Christmas presents, when I began to get near the "haunted" area of road. As I made a right onto the road, a large, shadowy figure darted in front of my car. I slammed on the brakes and the truck behind me nearly crashed into me. Shaking, I gingerly placed my foot back on the pedal and continued down the road.
As I came to a bend in the road, it slowly began to climb and my headlights washed over a strange, shadowy creature crouched on the double-lines. It stared at me with orange-yellow eyes, and then it bolted to the right. Again I slammed on my brakes and ignored the annoyed honk behind me as I watched the creature, which looked like an enormous black dog, continue to stare at me as it ran across the road and up and over a high fence (that no normal dog could clear). Scared out of my mind, I hurried home.
Sunday night: I was watching TV in my family room with my daughter, who was curled up asleep on the opposite couch. Out of the corner of my eye I saw waves of energy (that's the only way to describe it) seem to generate over the floor. Just black waves. Then it felt like someone punched the right side of my skull so hard that I was seeing stars! My head throbbed and I fell to the floor, waking up my daughter.
Clearly alarmed, she asked what was wrong and I said that it felt like someone punched me, but we were the only two home! Ever since then I've been getting these horrible migraines and feel as if I'm hallucinating. I'd experimented with acid while in college and that's exactly how these hallucinations seem. But I have no history of any kind of mental disease and I have never hallucinated in my life!
Has something from the "haunted road" followed me home? - Mandee M.

Jim shared his experience from About Paranoemal in the Christmas Ghost listings presented by S Wagner.
"These events occurred in Toronto, Ontario in December, 2009. I had just started seeing a new girl and she invited me over for dinner a few days before Christmas. It was my first time visiting her apartment, which she shared with a roommate who had already left to go home for the holidays.
After dinner, we went out to her covered porch for a smoke. As soon as I went into the room, I was drawn to a curious, faded portrait hanging on the wall. The portrait showed a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, and she seemed have a strange sentience in her stare. I asked the girl about it, and she said it was a picture of her great-great-aunt, taken in 1907. She took the picture off the wall and showed me the date scrawled on the back of the frame.
Later, we were in her room watching television and I took a bathroom break. The bathroom was adjacent to her room, and it had old plumbing - her sink had dual faucets for hot and cold water. I washed my hands in cold water when I was finished. I am 100 percent certain of it, and I cannot explain what happened next.
After I rejoined the girl, we were talking when all of a sudden, the sound of running water rose from the adjacent bathroom. She looked at me and said, "You left the water running."
"No, I didn't," I told her. "I'm sure I turned if off." And I was. I washed my hands in cold water and I certainly wouldn't leave someone's bathroom without turning off the faucet.
When I got up to check the bathroom, sure enough, the water was running. Thinking I somehow must have left the water running, I went to turn off the cold water tap on the dual faucets... but it was already locked in place! It wasn't turned on! The hot water was running. I didn't touch the hot water tap when I was in there not two minutes earlier. I am 100 percent certain of it.
Suddenly, I felt an extremely cold chill. The hairs on the back of my neck were standing up, but it's probably just because I got so suddenly spooked knowing some unseen force had turned the tap on. The girl and I talked about it afterward, and it all came back to the strange picture of her great-great-aunt hanging in the covered porch. She said she had the picture since she was very young, and it had always transfixed her.
She said this wasn't the first time strange things like that had happened - the lights turned themselves on and off, and the television did, too - and that it always seemed to be triggered by a male presence in the house. I asked why. She said she'd see what she could find out about her great-great-aunt.
It turns out her great-great-aunt had committed suicide when her husband left her for another woman. All I know is that the hot water tap turned itself on. - Jim T."

Author Lorna Byrne, discussed on her lifelong contact with angels. Byrne, who claims to have been interacting with the entities for as long as she could remember, quipped that she has seen angels "from the moment I opened my eyes."
Over the course of her life, she said, these beings have facilitated contact with her deceased brother as well as foretold who her husband would be and how their relationship would progress. Based on her experience and ability to see the entities.
She believes that every person, regardless of religion or morality, has a guardian angel. In fact, they are so pervasive, Byrne said she would be shocked if she saw someone "without the light of a guardian angel."
On why it appears that guardian angels help some people and not others, Byrne explained that they are only allowed a limited amount of intervention. Ultimately, she said, it is up to humans whether or not they will listen to their guardian angel. "We're the ones that have the power, you have to remember," she observed, "we're the ones who have the power to go right when, deep down inside of us, we know we should go left." She stressed that learning to recognize these messages from our guardian angels, no matter how subtle, could have a profound impact on not only ourselves, but the world at large. "If we'd only listen a little bit more and respond," Byrne mused, "life would be much easier. I know we wouldn't be having war at all."

Not a paranormal story but seems like a horrible experience to me.Give me Ghosts any day...
"A passenger was arrested after security officials discovered he had carried snakes, birds and a squirrel in hand luggage on a long-haul flight.
In a thankfully less-dramatic version of the 2006 thriller film Snakes On A Plane, fellow passengers were blissfully unaware of the man's box full of pets.
However, police arrested the suspect at Abu Dhabi International Airport after the Etihad Airways flight from Jakarta, Indonesia, when the animals were found with him.
The snakes were identified by an expert as being non-venomous reticulated and blood pythons.
It was unclear how he managed to get the animals past security in Indonesia.
Khamis al Marar, the acting director general of security affairs and ports in Abu Dhabi, stressed that carrying animals on board is strictly prohibited.
In this case, other passengers' safety was at risk, he said.
He added that licensed animals had to travel in specially designed boxes, which should be stored in the aircraft's hold.
The unidentified passenger was travelling on Etihad Airlines flight EY471.
A spokesman said: 'Etihad can confirm a passenger arriving on EY471 from Jakarta on December 3 was detained at Abu Dhabi International Airport, after airport officials located a bag containing live animals on the passenger.
'The matter has been investigated by airport and police authorities and Etihad has co-operated fully on this issue.'
Speaking about how the passenger was able get through security screening, she added: 'This is a matter for airport authorities in Jakarta.
'The airline is currently working with the authorities on their investigation.
'Etihad is increasing its own random hand luggage screening as a result of this incident.'
Last year a Qantas flight was grounded after four pythons being carried in the hold escaped in flight between Alice Springs and Melbourne."By James White

Tis the Season for Christmas Spirits. Here is an experience recently reported.
"It was Christmas time of 1995 or '96 at my aunt's house on a reservation in North Dakota. Some of my family was in the living room watching television, the kids were playing in the rooms or sleeping, and my uncle, aunt and I were sitting at the table putting a puzzle together. My cousin, who worked at a casino, would come home around midnight or 1 a.m.
This night, as she pulled up and was walking toward the house, she looked in the window and saw me sitting at the table, my uncle sitting across from me and someone standing to the left of me and someone standing in the corner, so she continued to walk in the house thinking nothing of it. When she got in she said her hellos, put her stuff away and came and joined us at the table.
As we were sitting there talking, she looked at me and asked who was standing next to me a few minutes ago and who was in the corner. I told her no one and she said, "Yeah, there was someone standing next to you. It looked like your mom and she was playing with your hair." (I have long hair, which I used to wear down all the time.) She said this person was running her hand on my hair, like a mother does to a child.
rs up and down that someone was standing over me rubbing my head and watching me put the puzzle together with my aunt and uncle, and that there was another person standing behind this person. We got around to thinking it was probably her mom she saw. (She passed away on her birthday a week before Christmas back in 1992.)
In my family we consider our aunts and uncles to be just like our moms and dads. After thinking that it could have been her, it didn't scare me so much. However, we couldn't figure out who the person was standing in the corner. And always around Christmas time something strange always happens... and we just think it's her visiting us. "- V. Page

Recently,Dr. Bradley Nelson discussed how people carry trapped emotions that affect their well being. He discovered that "emotional baggage that people were hanging onto was making them sick and creating depression and anxiety, and phobias...and that it's the biggest underlying source of disease." Intense emotions that a person can't process can become lodged in the body as a ball of energy that can distort a person's natural field, he explained.
After tapping into the subconscious to identify trapped energies, he said that magnets can be used to clear them. The magnets, which could be just ordinary refrigerator magnets, are run along the Governing Meridian, starting at upper lip, over the nose and over the top of the head, going all the way to the top of the tailbone, he detailed. Nelson also talked how the heart has a kind of brain, and most people have erected a detrimental heart wall that keeps them from closed off.

a couple of news items this weekend.
I blogged on April 16,2008 about the Ghost Ship Mary Celeste. It has always been special to me. The biggest delight was a reply by a family member of the Captain.I invite you to check it out..(I don't know how to link to it..)
Just yesterday, in 1872, the abandoned ship Mary Celeste was discovered in the Atlantic Ocean. The cause of the ship's desertion and the fate of its 10 passengers remains a mystery. Theories on what happened include a pirate attack, an encounter with a waterspout, a mutiny by the crew, and an accident involving the ship's cargo: barrels of alcohol

A very interesting report of a recent Coast To Coast AM program...
"On Tuesday's show, psychologist Dr. Garland Landrith, whose research was cited in the movie What the Bleep, discussed how inner thoughts can alter the physical realm through various methods including mass consciousness experiments, prayer, and "tapping" techniques. Various studies have demonstrated the quantum effects of consciousness, indicating that the mind can go beyond the time/space limitations that the normal universe operates under. For instance, he reported on an experiment in which people were randomly shown pleasant and negative photos. It was found that the subjects experienced anxiety several seconds in advance of seeing a negative photograph, which suggests the body senses things ahead of time, he said.
People are often held back by psychological blocks-- brain patterns that cause them to make the same mistakes over and over again, he noted. Through an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) that involves a person using their fingers to tap on various acupuncture points, these blocks can be removed, he stated. Further, he cited the recent Dallas Peace Project, in which 1,000 people tapped on acupuncture points, and crime rates reportedly went down 25% in the region. Landrith's tapping technique is demonstrated in this video clip promoting his DVD.
He also spoke about various prayer studies and techniques. Some particularly powerful methods include "releasing" an intention rather than focusing on it, posing an intention before going to sleep, and sending out feelings of love. By adopting a sense of gratitude-- being thankful for what you have, you'll be attracting more things to be grateful for than if you are in a state of wanting, which attracts lack, Landrith revealed"

On this day in 1954, Elizabeth Hodges of Sylacauga, Ala. was injured when an eight and a half pound meteorite crashed through the roof of her rented house, bounced off a console radio, and struck her left hip and hand.
She later became embroiled in a court battle with her landlord over ownership of the rock, which was eventually donated to a university, after being used as a doorstop.

The author would like to know if anyone else experienced this.
"This is my own experience in room 214, second floor of St. Luke's Hospital in Quezon City, Philippines. I was 11 years old when my mother was sent to the hospital. My older brother and I escorted our mother, since our father was at work. We were to stay in room 214. The room that was given to us was a class A room; however, before we got in, my brother told me that we had company. I just ignored it.
At first, it was all fine, until I noticed that every time I woke up the air conditioner was on and the light in the bathroom is off. On our second night, my brother joined me to watch our mom and while we were watching TV, he told me that a lady is in the bathroom, but still I didn't believe him.
I just ignored it until it turned off the light again and then it flushed the toilet. After that night, my brother left at 6:30 a.m. This is the day that the horrible event took place.
It was already midnight when this eerie feeling came over my nerves. I was watching TV and my mom was sleeping when this light earthquake occurred. My mom asked me if there is an earthquake. To make to make her calm I said there wasn't.
Before I was able to ask her to go back to sleep, the room shook very violently. My mom got off the bed and ran to the door. After we got out of the room, we were shocked. The whole second floor was so calm and quiet. We went to the nurse's station and asked them if they felt the earthquake, but all of them got mad at me and told me not to scare my mom and to get back to the room.
But before we got back to the room, one of the janitors told us it was "the lady" and advised us to leave the room. If somebody has also experienced this in room 214, please share it on this site as well."

Wired reports a judge declares cease and desist..
" You’d think Wolverine, Batman, Superman, Catwoman and Iron Man would collectively hold enough superpower to keep the cops at bay.
But with the Hall of Justice unavailable, a group of street performers nicknamed the Hollywood Characters aired their beef against the Los Angeles Police Department in federal court. And on Wednesday, a judge ordered the LAPD to stop harassing and arresting them as they perform on Hollywood Boulevard for pocket change.
The four street performers who sued had argued they were wrongly arrested and intimidated by the LAPD. U.S. District Judge Dean Pregerson ruled that the characters had a First Amendment and Fourth Amendment right to remain on the public sidewalk free from police persecution as long as they were not blocking the walkway or overzealously demanding change.
“The court is further sensitive that although costumed performance may not be a traditional form of speech, it is without doubt a protected one,” (.pdf) Pregerson ruled.
The suing street performers -– Matthias Balke, Melissa Beithan, Paul Harrell and Terrell Tomey — impersonate the comic-book characters’ voices, mannerisms and dialog.
They each alleged they were wrongly arrested (.pdf) at least once for “obstructing” a sidewalk. According to their lawsuit, they had stopped performing out of fear of arrest or police harassment."

Granted,Teens are difficult to live with and to teach, but this report from the Trinad Guardian is beyond the norm.
"Panic after ‘Devil attack’ at school
Panic broke out at the Moruga Composite School yesterday as 17 female students fell mysteriously ill and began rolling on the ground, hissing and blabbering in a strange tongue, after suffering bouts of nausea and headaches. Two of the students reportedly tried to throw themselves off a railing and had to be physically restrained, triggering fears of a possible demon attack. The drama started during the lunch hour in the Form One block and quickly spread to other areas. Form Five student Kern Mollineau, who attends the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church, said he got worried when the girls’ eyes began rolling up in their heads and they began beating up on the ground.
With the assistance of several other students and teachers, the pupils were taken to the multipurpose room...-as blabbering as if in a strange language. I could not understand what she was saying. “It was sounding like ‘shebbaberbebeb shhhhee.’ The girls were unusually strong. We had to hold them down so that they will not hurt themselves. “The teachers were right there. I get a kick in my face when one of the girls started beating up on the floor. Many of them had bruises.” Mollineau claimed he actually communicated with the “devil which had possessed the girl. “I asked the Devil what he wanted with the girls and the voice said he wanted a life. He kept saying to send the girls in the toilet and to leave them alone,” Mollineau claimed.
Roman Catholic priests, as well as pastors from nearby churches, including Josephine Charles, Deborah Charles and Pastor Gordon, visited the school and began showering the children with holy water and prayers.
Two more students, Kriston Mollineau and Kishon Bethel, said they too were called by teachers to assist the ill girls. Kriston said the girls complained of headaches and some of them wanted to go to the toilet. Six ambulances arrived at the school accompanied by police teams from the Moruga and St Mary’s Police Post. A party of fire officers from the Princes Town Fire Station, led by acting Assistant Divisional Fire Officer Ramdeo Boodoo visited the school and began conducting several tests on the surroundings to determine the cause of the problem.
No environmental causes were found..."

Have you noticed that several of the Paranoemal Investigations on TV seem to have more of a focus on Demons? Some doubt the validity of such depictions others of the programs themselves. This was an interesting program focus on Demons recently on Coast To Coast AM...
" Paranormal investigator and demonologist Keith Johnson discussed his work helping people cope with demonic infiltration. Johnson said his interest in other worldly realms began when as a young boy he experienced a series of harmless but bizarre incidents at his house. The activity took a turn for the worse after his brother and sister started using a Ouija board, which opened a spiritual portal to evil spirits, he explained. The demonic entities that came through used the board to spell out vulgarities and threats, and attacked members of his family, Johnson added.
"They are pure evil; there is no goodness in them," he continued. Demons often pretend to be human spirits in order to infiltrate a person's life and plant a spiritual virus, Johnson said, noting how hard they are to get rid of once someone has let them in. Their ultimate goal seems to be to hurt God by destroying his creation, he revealed. Johnson reported on cases where he was called upon to expel demons from individuals as well as residences. According to Johnson, when a demonic entity is cast out they usually go back to into oblivion -- a state of unrest and torment.
Johnson shared details from a demonic haunt case involving a Rhode Island woman and her family. The client complained about a presence watching her and was physically assaulted with a clothes hanger. The family told Johnson about a door in their home that would not remain closed no matter what they did to keep it propped open. The energy in the house could be felt immediately upon entering, he said, noting that the woman was actually on the verge of demonic possession. After instructing the children to call upon Jesus' name, Johnson claims that a window slammed shut, one of the girls was struck in the head, and the atmosphere of the house changed completely. Johnson also mentioned his consulting work on Syfy channel's Ghost Hunters and A&E's Paranormal State"

Lloyd Pye shared some updates regarding the Star Child Project.
"I met with our geneticist again to discuss the details of his next step forward to recover more of the Starchild's nuclear DNA. So far he's used only a form of shotgun recovery which, he explained, could recover the genome, all 3 billion base pairs, in about 15 years. Much easier to secure the use of a 454 machine that sequences several million base pairs in one run of many hours duration. Using it, the Starchild's entire genome could be recovered within 3-4 months.
Unfortunately, 454 machines are expensive to use and maintain, so another machine, much less powerful, will be used to recover vastly more base pairs than we have now. Nowhere near the full genome we need, of course, but a number large enough for skeptics to respect, if not readily accept.
This will be an all-out effort by our geneticist. He realizes my hands are tied until I can present a more convincing case to mainstream scientists and their sycophants in the mainstream media. Both groups do have to accept certain realities, which we intend to produce in large numbers and in great detail. We expect to have it all squared away before Christmas."

This is one of the most horrific events to hear about.
Should you visit a lovely old house at Grttysburg near the field of the long ago battle you will see a cross in a circle drawn on the basement inside door..It is still there and seaerves a special bow or prayer for what it represents.Once an old barn with a stone floor was in that spot.As the battle began. the Confederate General Robert E Lee was going to use the previous battle area as his stand. The Soldiers were ordered by their leader to clear the bodies in preparation and they did. There was not time to bury the dead considering the plight of the living, so they stacked the bodies one up on the other in the barn which for the July heat with the stone floor was the coolest area around and might slow the deconpsing.
The battle resumed and continued for three days.During this time, one young soldier awoke. He had been unsonscious when carried from the field. He was covered with bodies with the process of decay .He could not move whether from a praylisis from his wounding or si,p;y the hunderds of poungs holding him in the horror which trapped him.His screams for hr;p could not be heard.
In 5 days the Union Soldiers as victors were cleaning up the horrific scene. They found the barn and as they worked found the young man.Hallucinating and screaming he was hospitalozed but died two days later.
Only a few soldiers could be given a decent butial because of the number and materials/time it would require. This soldier was selected as one of those who would, while mass graves were used for most of the others. He was treated with great respect bu the gathering for his service.
This however must not have calmed his experience of horror.Within a few days the old barn mysteriously burned down.
Later on the spot where the barn had been.Perhaps using the stone floor that remained? A lovely white farmhouse was built.Of the five families who had lived there, all had to deal with a very angry ghost particularly in the basement.
The most recent couple of hearty stock,no doubt, decided to confront the ghost to reclaim their own home.Such explosive activity in the basement helped them to decide they needed help so they called in a priest. The priest confirmed as the door almost came apart that a ghost was there and conducted a long and exhausting exorcism.
As the session was concluded they all knelt in prayer and the Priest drew a cross enclosed in a circle on the basement door.It is said that the crossin the circle is still there today.

Sociology professors at Baylor University, Christopher D. Bader and Carson Mencken(http://www.paranormalamericabook.com/) discussed details of their survey about paranormal beliefs among various groups and ethnicities in the United States. Their work was meant to be a study of people who believe or research the paranormal, not an investigation of the phenomena itself. Interestingly, in their survey of typical Americans, they found that 68% of the respondents believed in at least one type or aspect of the paranormal. Accordingly, belief in the paranormal could now be considered normal, Mencken commented.
They found that belief in the paranormal tended to break down into two different types-- those that have a desire for adventure or discovery, such as Bigfoot or ghost hunters, and those who seek enlightenment or self-improvement such as people interested in psychic powers and astrology. Belief in UFOs was higher in men, while most of the other paranormal categories had a higher interest by women, Bader reported.
A lot of the paranormal topics are caught between religion and science, and accepted by neither. They noted that some Christian groups warn against involvement in the paranormal, and believe a lot of the phenomena is "the devil in disguise." Bader & Mencken recounted some of their field research which included a Bigfoot hunt, and a trip to a house said to be haunted by 150 demons. The Bigfoot expedition (documented in the episode "Swamp Stalker" of the TV show MonsterQuest) used "call blasting," audio of a screeching primate to try and attract the creature. The next morning, possible Bigfoot tracks were uncovered.
A C2C Insta-Poll, posed the question: Which paranormal beings or experiences do you believe in?

Ghost to Ghost 2010:
Art Bell hosted Ghost to Ghost AM in which he opened the lines to listeners to share their tales of ghostly encounters. A number of callers reported interactions with strange entities -- Brian of California saw a being that grew in size, and had a face like a Punch doll, while a caller to the Wild Card line said he witnessed the ghost of a rain-coated girl, who was later seen moving in slow motion. Another listener described a childhood memory of seeing a man in a Santa suit fall down a well in Vallejo, CA. Later he saw a vision of the man floating over his bed telling him to go downstairs to get his Christmas presents. According to the caller's father, it was unknown where several gifts came from, including an old wooden handmade train.
Greg from Chicago talked about his recent project of photographing the locations where people were murdered, and said at one of the spots "a really weird ghostly...image stain" appeared on his film. Maggie from Arkansas shared an intriguing account of how her deceased best friend made warnings from beyond the grave about her new boyfriend-- she literally heard him making remarks about him in her ear. Subsequently, she found out his warnings were true, and dropped the boyfriend.
Delbert, a trucker driving through Amarillo, told of how his wife's sister died in a car accident. Later, he and his wife were taking care of the sister's three year-old son at their home in Nebraska, when the door of the room suddenly closed and the temperature "dropped so cold you could see your breath." The boy said 'Hi Mommy,' and seemed to be listening to her. He then said 'OK Mommy,' and then 'Bye Mommy.' After that, the door swung back open, and the room warmed up "like nothing ever happened."

Wondering what to do different this Halloween? There are 2 seances on the internet you may be interested in.Stephen Wagner brought out the details of a customary Halloween seance and James Rand the famous Magician/Skeptic ill lead another made up of Magicians and,Skeptics...A first time event.
"It was the night of October 31, 1936. Halloween night. The men and women sat at the round table with joined hands. They awaited the message - the message they had hoped for every Halloween night for the past 10 years. But the message did not come.
Finally, one woman rose from the table and announced to the others - and to a listening radio audience - "Houdini did not come through," she said. "My last hope is gone. I do not believe that Houdini can come back to me, or to anyone...The Houdini Shrine has burned for ten years. I now, reverently... turn out the light. It is finished. Good night, Harry!"
The woman was Bess Houdini, wife of the famed magician and escape artist. And this was the last séance she would participate in to try to contact her dead husband. But the séances themselves did not stop. Every October 31, from 1927 up to the present day, a séance has been conducted with hopes of contacting the spirit of Harry Houdini. So far, the great Houdini has not made his presence known.(Picture of Harry and Bess Houdini)
The Houdini séance has been a Halloween tradition since the first anniversary of his death. The magician died at the age of 52 on October 31, 1926 from peritonitis - an internal infection - as the result of a ruptured appendix.
Shortly before his death, Houdini made a pact with Bess that if he could, he would return and make contact with her from the other side. They devised a coded message that only he and Bess knew; this would prove that it really was Houdini breaking through from the afterlife. But after 10 séances in 10 years, Bess had not received her beloved husband's personal message.
Even though Bess gave up the séances herself, she asked magician Walter B. Gibson to carry on the October 31 tradition. For many years, Gibson, along with several other magicians, held the séances at the Magic Towne House in New York City. Countless other "unofficial" Houdini séances have been held by local psychics across the country throughout the years - all in good fun, but with no definitive proof of so much as a "hello" from Harry Houdini.
Today, the official Houdini Séance is held at The Houdini Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania. And true to the times, they have been conducting séances on the Internet.
The Halloween Houdini Seance on the Internet - Oct 31.
The Halloween Houdini Seance, which has a been a tradition for the past 80 years since the great magicians untimely death, has now moved to cyberspace. The seances, held by Houdini's wife for the first ten years after his death, and then passed on by her, will be held on the Internet for 24 hours on Halloween on the anniversary of his death. Scranton's Houdini Museum, the only museum in the world entirely devoted to Houdini, is asking everyone on the web have a place in their mind the great feats of Houdini sometime during those twenty four hours.
The Houdini Museum, a non-profit organization, has a large web site; The museum has won many awards for its Internet site including being chosen as one of the "7 Wonders of the Web." ...The Houdini Museum can be found on the Internet by typing in the words Houdini Museum Scranton on any of the major Internet search engines. The actual web address is http://www.Pocono.org/houdini.html
The Houdini Museum has been in Scranton for nine years, and open to the general public for four years in the Scranton/Pocono area. Prior to that a part of the exhibit was on display for 13 years at the famous Magic Towne House in New York City. The Magic Towne House was the location of the Houdini Seances in New York. New York City was where Houdini lived for most of his life, until his death. "
"This Halloween, The James Randi Educational Foundation and WeirdThings.com present a never-before-attempted experiment. In front of a live internet audience, a group of prominent skeptics and magicians will try to make contact with the spirit of Harry Houdini, the world's most famous magician and challenger of the supernatural.
What makes this attempt unique is that it's being conducted by skeptics and magicians in the hopes that if contact from beyond the grave is possible, Houdini would prefer to make it with skeptics and magicians like himself.
World famous magician and skeptic James Randi will oversee the seance and will help supervise the attempt to communicate.
The seance will be conducted by magician and publisher of WeirdThings.com Andrew Mayne, WeirdThings.com editor-in-chief Justin Robert Young and magician and Scam School star Brian Brushwood.
The seance will consist of several tests for attempted communication. Words and images provided by prominent magicians and skeptics and held by James Randi will be attempted to be divined through various supernatural means including Ouija boards, automatic writing and spirit photography..."

Monsters & Creatures:
One of the first authors I favored in early readings is Brad Steiger. Here are some points he recently spoke of:
" Author Brad Steiger shared some of his research into purportedly true cases of encounters with monsters and creatures. "The monster has always been with us, always, since the earliest days of our human experience," Steiger said, pointing to the ancient Franco-Cambrian cave wall drawings of half-man, half-animal beings. Many of these monsters, or entities, are what he called paraphysical -- from another dimension and only here for a certain time.
Steiger believes bigfoot could be a paraphysical entity. This may explain why finding one in the wild has proven so difficult. Steiger himself claimed to have once had the ape-like creature cornered on an expedition, but never found the actual being. Nonetheless, he has recovered scat and hair that may be from the beast. According to Steiger, an analysis of the hair sample revealed it was humanoid in origin, but not fully human. He also suggested that what some perceive as bigfoot could be the ghost of a giant ape that once roamed the continent.
Steiger reported on a young boy's encounter with a seemingly benevolent bogey man that appeared as "the Walt Disney version of the wolf in the Three Little Pigs." Steiger thinks this entity may have simply been trying to show the young boy a reality beyond that of his day-to-day existence. Malignant entities interact with people as well. Demons, or spirit parasites, use human bodies to commit obscene acts and destroy the lives of their hosts, he continued. Many psychiatrists are beginning to take demon possession seriously, Steiger added, noting that some people in mental institutions may be legitimately possessed.
Steiger recounted the story of Laura Starr Latta, who died tragically in 1899, one month before her 20th birthday. According to legend, her tormented spirit can be seen walking a lonely stretch of Arkansas' Highway 64 on dark and rainy nights."

Saw this article and cringe at the thought...Is it just me?
Escaped snakes take over town
"Terrified householders had to abandon an entire town after 3,000 illegally bred king cobra eggs hatched out and gave their owner the slip.
The eggs - bred to supply the traditional health industry - had been stored in a cage in a house in Xianling, south west China.
But the newly hatched snakes escaped through a hole in their enclosure and took over the entire town.
"We don't really know how many survived but we caught 170 of them so we think a lot are still missing," said a police spokesman.
King cobras - which as adults can reach 18ft in length -are among the most deadly snakes in the world and can kill a man with a single bite.
Illegal breeder Cai Yong is now facing jail for breeding venomous snakes without a licence."

John Austin talked about zombies, and his handbook for the 'undead,' which features illustrations and diagrams. According to pop culture lore, there are three types of zombies, he said: the walking undead (reanimated people on the hunt for human brains), ragers (humans infected with rabies), and the supernatural (such as mummies guarding treasures). While these types of zombies are the stuff of science-fiction and horror, it's possible genetic or viral experiments could go awry and lead to a "serious problem," Austin noted.http://www.johnaustinbooks.com/zombie.html
From the info about this book:
"For centuries, humans have stereotyped zombies as simpleminded, flesheating monstrosities that aimlessly stumble around the world of the living, hunting for a taste of their most precious dish; the human brain. Dripping with infected blood, zeds slaughter, gorge, and multiply until they drive their principal food source, humankind, to extinction.
These assumptions are basically correct. We zombies are more reckless and less quick-witted then our living counterparts - our bloodstained history reflects that. Apocalpytic help is here! So Now You’re a A Zombie explains how your new, putrid body works and what you need to survive in this zombiphobic world. This quide is stuffed with dozens of helpful diagrams and attack strategies to help secure your human prey. You’ll learn how to successfully hunt, fight and feed on the living."

This is close to home. They titled it "Lord Of The Rings" but I was not comfortable with that.
"JOYCE KILMER WROTE: ‘ONLY GOD CAN MAKE A TREE’
Bill Johnson has heard the news stories about people seeing sacred images in unusual objects, such as potato chips, toast or grilled-cheese sandwiches.
He didn’t pay much attention to them, not seeing the images himself.
Which is why Johnson is somewhat bewildered at his discovery of what he says is an image of Jesus on a tree limb that fell in his front yard in Midway.
He said the lichen-covered log bears what appears to be a robed image of Jesus with an outstretched hand. The head is near the center of the limb where the rings of the tree are lighter, giving an almost halo appearance..."

Author and investigator Graham Hancock recently talked about his research into ancient mysteries, supernatural beings, and parallel realms. He discussed the archaeological discovery of the megalithic site at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey, dating back almost 12,000 years On a scale like Stonehenge (though far older), "the site is constructed out of giant stones which have been carved very precisely often with reliefs of animals and strange supernatural figures," he noted. There is no context for a site like this in archaeological study; "it just seems to come out of nowhere...in a fully formed, incredibly impressive state," almost like a buried time capsule, he said.
Our world could be interpenetrated by other dimensions or realms that are most often undetectable, Hancock stated, adding that this could account for the UFO phenomenon which seems quite elusive. These other dimensions could also include the spirit world.
He cited how cave paintings dating back thousands of years depicted spirit or supernatural beings. During the medieval era people spoke about fairies, elves, and the realms they inhabited, while today alien abduction and UFO craft are reported. What we're seeing is actually one phenomena "viewed through different cultural spectacles" that originates in a parallel dimension or realm, he explained.
He also talked about his recent novel Entangled, which deals with time travel, NDEs, and the supernatural. Interestingly, in his book he featured neanderthal characters who were compassionate, and now well after he wrote the work, scientific reports have just emerged that suggest neanderthals were indeed nurturing and caring, and not the brutish thugs most people picture.

On Coast to Coast A"M paranormal researcher David Pitkin discussed how spirits and ghosts are not scary, powerful forces but a natural part of our transition from the earthly plane to the spirit world. Based on his research, Pitkin speculated that around 80 to 85% of ghost encounters are really from family members and friends who are "just a little stunned by the process of death." On why ghosts do not move on to the proverbial 'other side,' Piken offered a number of potential theories such as the possibility that the deceased does not know they are dead yet or that they have "unfinished business" with someone here in the earthly realm. "I get cranky with people who use all kinds of fear tactics and misinformation on people about ghosts," Pitkin mused, "when actually we could be helping ghosts to cross over."
Pitkin pointed out a variety of methods that appear to be used by spirits to contact their corporeal friends and family. On a personal level, he recalled one subtle instance where his late aunt, who had been dismissive of his interest in ghosts, seemingly filled his car with the scent of a specific lily that the both of them had grown. Upon the realizing what was happening, Pitkin greeted her and the smell almost instantly dissipated. He also speculated that poltergeists may not necessarily be evil spirits, but rather a deceased loved one who is trying to make an indisbutable appearance via a mischevious prank such as opening all the kitchen cabinet doors. Ultimately, Pitkin opined that these visitations are because "most people who pass over want to let at least one family member know 'hey, I've made it.'"

Earth crack a mystery
Doug Salewsky and Eileen Heider look at a 200-yard long crack in the earth Tuesday on Birch Creek Road in Menominee County. The crack is 2 to 3 feet wide in some places. The trees in back are tipping about 30 degrees and the earth around the crack has rose about 5 feet with other little fissures spreading out from center. EagleHerald/Rick Gebhard
By MIKE DESOTELL
EagleHerald staff writer
"BIRCH CREEK - One day the land was flat and filled with trees shooting straight into the air. Twenty-four hours later there's a 600-foot-long crack, 4-feet deep twisting its way through the woods - and those vertical trees are now pointed 30 degrees left and right where the earth has mounded 15 feet high. No, it's not a disaster movie; it's what happened Monday at the home of Eileen Heider on Bay de Noc Road in Birch Creek.
Heider was sitting in her recliner watching TV at about 8:30 that morning. "The chair shook for a few seconds and I thought the spring in the chair went," she said. Heider heard a noise at the same time. She checked her chair and around the house inside and out but couldn't find anything unusual.Heider wasn't alone. A neighbor across the road told her she heard a boom while taking a shower and that her husband was leaning against the washing machine and said he felt it move, even though it wasn't running. Another neighbor said he heard a boom and closed his window thinking it was thunder but then noticed the sky was clear.
The next day Heider's friend, Doug Salewski, found a hole in the ground and a 200-yard crevasse a short ways away which wasn't there before. Heider went to investigate and said the crack was three-feet wide and about five-feet deep in spots.
"The trees on one side are kind of tilted and on the other side are tilted the opposite way," she said. The hole found by her friend was dry so she didn't think it was caused by rain, even though some members of her family did. "My kids and different ones that came over said maybe it was because of so much rain and there was a buildup of pressure underneath."
Heider call authorities and Michigan State Trooper Paul Anderson from the Stephenson Post came out to take a look..."

I continue to be fascinated by the Crystal Skulls although I have never seen one.Saw this the other day on line,
'Astrologer and dowser Cece Stevens talked about the upcoming Crystal Skulls Festival/World Mysteries Conference, which she organized. Numerous speakers, many bringing crystal skulls with them, will be at the conference, she said. Crystal skulls can be as small as the size of a thumb or as large as 350 lbs.-- but it's the energy vibration of the skull that's important, not its size, she noted.
JoAnn Park's skull MAX is know for healing powers, while Cece's skull, BOB, is said to grant wishes. "He has literally granted every wish that anyone's put on him," she claimed. Stevens also talked about her work with dowsing and remote viewing, and her efforts to help law enforcement solve crimes.
When a caller asked if she had any insights in the recent case of a missing Washington state college student, Stevens said that she believes he is still alive and has not met with foul play.
I am the curator of BOB the skull of Wishes, So far everyone who had held him has had a wish granted.
For more information and help, or to set up a place to have BOB come visit you, contact me at
Cece Stevens (520) 907-0102 CeceSt@aol.com
"In 2008 during the September Gem Show in Tucson BOB presented himself to me. Not quietly, but jumped out at me as I walked by.
Sitting with Bob was Junior. Smaller, but none the less I felt one had to go with the other. I now see why. Junior Calms where BOB grants wishes. One is a healer, and one is a joy giver. What a nice combination.
Until April 2008, I had not had the experience of a Crystal Skull. I had been fascinated by the Mitchell Hedges Skull and tried in vain to see it. As well as the Atlantian Orb. I have been fortunate in that I and BOB were able to finally see and meet both crystals.
Bob named himself, while looking at his name and attempting to understand why the name BOB, he told me.
BOB is Brings Out the Best. And he does Bring out the best in people. You see BOB is a skull of Wishes. He grants wishes to those that ask him. So far he has not denied anyone their wish. Some take a bit longer, but none the less all have been granted.
When I had sat and meditated with BOB I have seen things from the past. and I see the future as well. Bob has shown me the mistakes from the past, but also has shown me the corrections for the future.
No one has walked away from BOB without having had a experience.
Come with a open heart and mind and be ready for anything."

Paula D shares this image of a mysterious set of dusty handprints on her car along with her experience:
"On a trip to Southern Oregon in June of this year, my sister and I visited the cemetery in Jacksonville, an old pioneer gold rush town near Medford. I was looking for the grave of a friend who had died in 1998 or 1999. My sister stayed in the car with it running, the air conditioning on, playing poker on her Blackberry, while I tramped around in the weeds for a half an hour or so looking for the grave.
I finally gave up and we drove back to our motel in Medford, where my sister was dropping me off on her way to dinner with friends. Before she pulled away I remembered something I needed to tell her and I walked around to her side of the car and stopped cold. There was a set of handprints in dust on the driver side back door. Thinking it could have been dust sticking to some previous stickiness already on the door I swiped a finger through it and the dust came right up - you can see where I swiped it in the picture in the left hand print.
As you can see, if a person had made the impression they would have had to been laying across the top of the car, or backed into it with hands behind their back. We've speculated that the gesture the hands are in is the heart sign... or the one I like best is the AA triangle symbol. The woman whose grave I was visiting was a recovering alcoholic. I wonder if she made the hand prints."
-Thank you Paula.

Wgen "they come" we will know what to say..
"Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity’s response if and when extraterrestrials make contact.
Aliens who landed on earth and asked: “Take me to your leader” would be directed to Mrs Othman.
Mrs Othman is currently head of the UN’s little known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa).
In a recent talk to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day human kind will received signals from extraterrestrials.
“When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”
he plan to make Unoosa the co-ordinating body for dealing with alien encounters will be debated by UN scientific advisory committees and should eventually reach the body’s general assembly.
Opinion is divided about how future extraterrestrial visitors should be greeted. Under the Outer Space Treaty on 1967, which Unoosa oversees, UN members agreed to protect Earth against contamination by alien species by “sterilising” them.
Mrs Othman is understood to support a more tolerant approach.
But Professor Stephen Hawking has warned that alien interlopers should be treated with caution.
He said: “I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. The outcome for us would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.”

"The Great Old Ones are ancient extraterrestrial beings of immense power, and most are also colossal in size. These entities seem to have a physical shape, but being cosmic lifeforms from beyond our space-time continuum means they are not based on matter in our definition of the concept, yet their forms are built on principles similar enough to those of true matter that they appear to be material in their nature. They are worshipped by deranged human cults, as well as by most of the non-human races of the mythos. The Great Old Ones are currently imprisoned—a few beneath the sea, some inside the Earth, and still others in distant planetary systems and beyond. The reason for their captivity is not known, though there are two prevailing theories:
1. They were sequestered by the Elder Gods for using black magic transgressions, or
2. They are sealed off somehow from the rest of the Universe of their own volition.
August Derleth maintained that the Great Old Ones were once related to the Elder Gods. When they committed some unknown blasphemy, they were cast out and imprisoned in various places in the Universe. The Great Old Ones impatiently await the time of their release, eager to seek retribution against their jailors.
The second theory holds that the Great Old Ones are intentionally dormant. To account for this, it is possible that the Universe experiences cosmic cycles, similar to the natural seasons which occur on Earth. Just as some animals hibernate during the winter, so too must the Great Old Ones rest in a death-like sleep during the present cosmic cycle. If this is so, the Great Old Ones are currently trapped by powerful cosmic forces and must remain so until such time as the planets are in a certain alignment... or "the stars are right"—the event upon which they may be released and can revel once more across the cosmos." from Wikipedia.

This was interesting!
"Looking out of the window, Mark Brow couldn’t believe it when he saw his dog, Looby Loo, sitting in her favourite spot in the garden.
After all, she had died two years ago.
But there, hewn into a garden rock, was the unmistakable image of the 13-year-old springer spaniel.

But Looby Loo, the beloved family pet his children missed so much, was still there.
Mr Brow, a programme controller at a local radio station, said his wife, Carron, first alerted him to the ghostly visitor in the garden at their home in Ilkley, Yorkshire.
‘She said, “I think you’d better look out of the window. It’s Looby Loo”. Initially I thought it was a cardboard cut-out, and they were winding me up,’ he said.
But close examination showed patterns in the moss covering the rock, which came from Ilkley Moor and has been in the garden for years, had suddenly formed
‘I just thought I was seeing things, but she’s there,’ said Mr Brow, 42. ‘It doesn’t just look like any dog, it looks like our dog.
'The bizarre thing is that spot is exactly where she used to sit.’
Mr Brow, who has four children, Harry, 13, Louis, ten, Charles, eight, and Lillia, four, said : ‘The kids are desperate for a dog and have been pestering me for ages.
‘Perhaps this is a sign we should get one.’"

This is not a Jesus ON A Bagel type unexpected event however it would not be something you would want to have at your house..
A family abandoned their bathroom fearing it had been possessed by the devil after an image of Satan appeared overnight - in a tile.
Laszlo Csrefko spent a fortune renovating the room at the family home in Bekasmegyer, Budapest, with a new bath, shower and tiles.
But after taking her first shower, horrified wife Andrea, 47, fled from the bathroom when she spotted the horned head of the devil in one of the tiles.
"I was naked coming out of the shower and I could suddenly see his eyes staring into me. I just screamed and ran," she said.
Husband Laszlo, 52, explained: "We can't clean it off and it wasn't there when we put the tiles up. It just appeared overnight and nothing can move it.
"The room is always ice cold no matter how high we turn the heating up and we've just stopped using it because it's too spooky.
"We wash in the sink downstairs now," he added.
Now the couple are planning to call in an exorcist to cleanse their bathroom of evil spirits.
"We need some help from God or from the spirit world or we're going to seal up the room forever," said Laszlo.

Several people in New Jersey claimed they saw a person falling from the sky with no parachute, but an extensive police search has turned up no evidence, NBC Philadelphia reported.
Witness Kelly Hale and two of her co-workers at Shore Veterinarians in Egg Harbor Township said they watched from their office windows as a human fell head-first from the sky on Tuesday.
But there were no reports of missing skydivers.
The police are still investigating. One of the many who called in to report it said

There is an old saying "Someone is out there for you.."Maybe that applies to Lobsters also.
"A million-to-one freak lobster with two cutting claws caught in British waters has found a friend in another mutant crustacean -- with two crushing claws.
Lobsters usually have one cutting claw and one crushing claw - which are each used to catch food such as crabs.
They grab their prey with the sharp cutting claw while the powerful crusher claw is used to break open the shell.
But a lobster - nicknamed Popeye - with two crushing claws has now been found by fisherman Steven Tregeer off St Just in Cornwall.
The discovery comes just weeks after a lobster dubbed 'Edward Scissorhands' with two cutting claws was found off the coast of nearbThe pair of freak crustaceans are now being cared for at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium.
Blue Reef's David Waines said: ''On his own Edward was an extremely unusual find.
''So for Popeye to have been caught within the space of just a few weeks is nothing short of extraordinary.
''We now have a pair of lobsters with the correct number of cutting and crushing claws - the only problem is they're the wrong way round.''
Lobsters are among the planet's oldest inhabitants with fossil remains found dating back more than 100 million years."
Makes you wonder if our pollution is reaching the oldest creatures..

The last time I read about Ripley Museums they were dealing with a shortage of Shrunken Heads. When you think of all the things to be found there it seems likely that some hauntings may happen,This appeared in AOL News.(A few highlights.Click the link at the end for the full account.Info about a TAPS tour also.)
"...you might want to head down to St. Augustine, Fla., the oldest city in the United States and home to the first -- and oldest -- Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, Castle Warden.
Both the city and the museum are reputed to be haunted.
In fact, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, or TAPS -- the real-life ghost busters of the Syfy Network's popular "Ghost Hunters International" series – have been to Castle Warden and other eerie spots around St. Augustine, searching for signs of a real haunting.
Castle Warden is a historic mansion, built in 1887 by millionaire William Warden. The building, which resembles a medieval fortress, became a hotel in the 1940s, where Robert Ripley was a frequent visitor.
The building was acquired by Ripley's heirs after his death in 1949, and in December 1950, it opened as the original Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, housing many artifacts from Ripley's personal collection of amazing oddities and curiosities from around the world.
There's everything from an Abraham Lincoln life mask to a vampire slaying kit to the erector set Ferris wheel that's two stories high that took a guy 17 years to make -- it's pure insanity at every turn."
On the truly freaky level, Ingwersen adds that visitors to Castle Warden often report hearing mysterious voices or catching glimpses of apparitions in the labyrinthine, four-story, 25-room building. He said that some claim to smell smoke from a fire in the 1940s that killed two women who were in the building when it was a hotel.
Now we get into the paranormal, where sensitives and psychics consistently come into these rooms and they keep getting these same premonitions and feelings that something terrible happened in that building. So that's one of the reasons why we think it's haunted."
Those are among many cases of ghostly occurrences that have been reported at Castle Warden, according to Ingwersen.
"We've had various people that have called the police because right up there on the third floor, they'll see a woman at a window, screaming. That window's been boarded up since 1950, but they see her screaming..."

A recent discussion on Coast To Coast AM left me with some shivers..
"Hypnotherapist and abduction researcher Yvonne Smith discussed her research on UFO abductions on Thursday night. Several years ago, 11 people were simultaneously abducted on Coronado Island, and this case is going to be featured in her forthcoming book, she said. Right now, she's working on a three-witness case with Dr. Roger Leir and Jaime Maussan, hypnotically regressing two of the witnesses who were children when the incident occurred. An implant was removed from one of the witnesses, and Dr. Leir believes we may have enough data to determine the origin of the ETs, she revealed.
The ET's agenda appears to revolve around the hybridization program, said Smith, as many of the abductees have sperm and ova removed. Further, she reported that some female abductees feel their own children may have been genetically altered. Abductees are often told that they're being trained for a particular job, "and when the time comes they'll know exactly what they're supposed to do," she noted, adding that this might relate to certain dreams abductees have had in which they are guiding large numbers of people somewhere."

Found this today. Not Paranormal but interesting.Material from the Newsletter from Coast To Coast AM..Picture well known to Baby Boomers is from Dreamtime.
On today's date in 1813, the nickname for the United States " Uncle Sam" got its start. Samuel Wilson, a meat packer in New York, supplied barrels of beef to the US Army during the War of 1812, and marked them with the initials "U.S." for United States. Soldiers began referring to the food as "Uncle Sam's," and a local newspaper picked up the story. "
