Lavender Patch's Remarkable Daughter
Looking for a cozy, original, functional work of art for a gift or for yourself? Look no further than Lavender Patch. I take great pride in my handmade quilts and other patchwork items."This apt three statements appear at the first of Lavender Patch's Etsy store.Further down it says"Looking for a cozy, original, functional work of art for a gift or for yourself? Look no further than Lavender Patch. I take great pride in my handmade quilts and other patchwork"
This is absolutely true,as you saw her work in the video.Cozy, comfortable, colorful and carefully done.
Lavender Patch opened her Etsy store in July of 2007.She considers it a hobby and says it gives her reasons for always having a sewing project in progress and to go fabric shopping. I
She does all stitching and piecing by hand, in "found moments", while relaxing at home. But, working full-time and being a wife and mother to two young daughters (including a 6-month old who was born 10 weeks premature), has left little time for sewing l.She says however she is a bit fanatical about buying handmade, and is especially addicted to the necklaces and pendants on Etsy.
Her store is http://LavenderPatch.etsy.com
Here is her story directly from a forum post in her own words
"LavenderPatch says:
I'm pretty sure all of us have stories of some little kid in our lives seeming to have a 6th sense, predicting things or seeing things that we don't see. I firmly believe children are more receptive to another deminsion or something. So, lets share stories.
The other day my husband was taking my 3-year old daughter to the home improvement store (called Menard's) to buy some ice melt salt after picking her up from daycare. He told her where they were going, and she said "But people already bought all of it there. There isn't any left. We need to go to Walmart" Sure enough, they got there and it was sold out. So, later that night the three of us headed to Walmart, but on our way there she told us "There isn't any left at Walmart now." Sure enough, we got there and they said they just sold out. Creepy, but cool, IMO".
Thank you for your story. This seems to me to be precognition. What do you think? It is remarkable wherever the "seeing" comes from.
The next post will include three other responses in this same forum on Etsy about their child or a child they knew.
