I've experienced sleep paralysis only once. I thought that my dog (who doesn't sleep on the bed) was on my chest. It was hard to breathe, I couldn't move, and was tingly all over. I had been very stressed out. It wasn't scary for me, though, because I thought it was my dog.
I do regularly sleep walk/talk, though. Which is apparently quite odd for a 25-year-old girl. I think that it runs in my family, though. I also have RLS. I've read places that the two can be related.
